The Kiwa Energy team had reason to celebrate following the commissioning of our local hydrogen production plant and labs. This involved Hydrogen flowing down the pipes for the first time from our Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) to our new hydrogen lab. We invited a number of influential people in the industry to join us at our offices in Cheltenham on 8 September and have a tour of the SMR.
The Government announced changes to UKCA marking for products on 20th June. Here at Kiwa we are currently analysing the new guidance to fully understand the implications for manufacturers. We will update our website as soon as we have confirmed our interpretation.
Kiwa is delighted to be working in a consortium led by BRE on improving the measurement of energy performance of UK homes, and developing the methodology to be more suited to heat pumps, renewables and smart tech.
