From 18 - 21 November, Kiwa will be present at the world's leading medical trade fair: Medica 2019 in Düsseldorf. Representatives of Kiwa Italia, Kiwa Turkey, our German test laboratory and our French subsidiary will be present.

Kiwa Italy has established a brand new state of the art Plastic Laboratory in Bologna. The establishment responds to the increasing demand of the Water & Gas sector, with the aim to support companies with their business growth and innovation.

Kiwa has successfully implemented the eco-friendly accelerated notch pipe test (aNPT) for PE100-RC pipe testing. The important difference with a normal NPT is that instead of using loads of water, the pipe is placed in a detergent solution.

From September 23 - 28, Kiwa will join the Dutch Innovation Mission Hydrogen to Japan. The mission facilitates excellent opportunities to gain more insights into the chances hydrogen offers and to strengthen our international network even further.

Kiwa, as an internationally accredited certification body for solar products, will be present at the Solar Power International 2019 exhibition, in Salt Lake City (USA) from 23 to 26 September.

Kiwa is glad to welcome Ron Scheepers as our new Executive Vice President for the Service Line Assurance from October 1. Ron will succeed Erik Landgren, who is now Country Manager of Kiwa Inspecta Sweden.

Together with grid operator Stedin, Kiwa has investigated whether the Dutch village Stad aan 't Haringvliet can switch from natural gas to green hydrogen. The research shows that this can be achieved within a relatively short time and at relatively low costs.
